With the LTD Volsung-200, ESP and Lars are opening the door for many more players to get the energy of this guitar’s look, feel, and sound. Based on the double-horned ESP Viper body style, the Volsung is even more streamlined, keeping the guitar's light weight ideal for energy-filled live shows and long recording/writing/jamming sessions. It’s built with set-neck construction at 24.75” scale, pairing a mahogany body to a three-piece mahogany neck. The Volsung-200 has a roasted jatoba fingerboard with dot inlays and 22 extra-jumbo frets. Its black chrome hardware complements its Black Satin finish. Components on the Volsung-200 include LTD tuners, an LTD tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece, and a set of acclaimed, punchy ESP Designed LH-150 passive pickups in the bridge and neck positions that feature custom black chrome covers and exposed pole pieces. Unlike most Viper models, the Volsung-200 offers three control knobs, with individual volume controls for each pickup plus tone control and pickup selector. |
