The JOYO JTA-05 Sweet Baby 5 Watt Tube Amplifier uses a 12AX7 as the preamp tube, a 6V6GT as the power tube and unlike almost all other amps in its price range, it features a 5AR4 tube. thanks to the all-valve, all hand-wired Class A circuitry, with the valve rectifier giving you the vintage “sag” tone as heard on countless records.
At low volumes it sounds amazing and when you start to crank up the volume it breaks up beautifully. The low power allows you to drive the tubes for incredibly warm overdriven sound at higher volumes.

The JTA-05 can force you to use your guitar in a different way, it lets you use your guitar's volume and tone controls to dial in the exact sound you want. By turning the amp halfway it will start to break up nicely depending on the pickups you are using. If you want to get a clean sound now, you'll have to turn down the amp, or turn down the volume on your guitar.
When you lower the volume on the guitar it will give you a clean sound, raise the volume and you will have a nicely overdriven amp again. Experimenting with the volume on the amp and the volume on your guitar will give you lots of different tonal choices and that's before you start using the tone controls for even more versatility.
