In 2011, the original Renown ’57 was introduced to the world. Its unique look, inspired by classic American cars was an immediate hit, furthering Gretsch’s American heritage. A decade later the ’57 returns with a reimagined retro color scheme in Silver Oyster Pearl.
Offered throughout 2021, the Renown ’57 redux mirrors today’s RN2 by utilizing the same classic 7-ply all-maple shell, 30 degree bearing edges, 302 hoops, Silver Sealer™ interiors, and low profile GTS tom mounts. In an effort to satisfy Gretsch purists, bass drums come in a traditional 14" depth, without BD mounts.
The unique outfit is offered in two configurations, both in Silver Oyster Pearl Nitron.
